New Jersey has some of the top ranked school districts in the country, and our standardized test scores are off the charts. Our students excel in math, reading, and especially writing, and we have extraordinarily high graduation rates. Though overall, our state comes out on top, some school districts are better than others. The following rankings are based primarily on academic achievement, followed by safety, diversity, survey results and extracurricular opportunities. Millburn's five elementary schools consistently perform at the highest level on New Jersey standardized tests. Millburn High School is routinely recognized as one of the most outstanding secondary schools in both the state and the nation. 99% of graduating seniors attend four-year colleges. It has twice been named the best high school in the state by New Jersey Monthly magazine, and is always highly ranked in national publications.
Home to prestigious Princeton University, the town of Princeton has some pretty incredible public schools. They offer small class sizes, a majority of teachers with advanced degrees, and top test scores.
The Pascack Valley School District offers a wide range of extracurricular activities and has an award winning robotics team! Students consistently score highly on standardized tests as well.
