3. Bogue Chitto State Park
The 1,786-acre site features cypress tupelo swamps, steams, hardwood and upland forests, and beautiful views. Make sure you check out Frickes Cave, an interesting natural phenomenon created from water eroding underneath pebbles, creating delicate sandstone spires. 4. Martin
Perhaps one of the prettiest lakes in Louisiana. Lake Martin is a favorite place for bird watchers, as it’s a wildlife preserve. There’s a boardwalk trail that’ll take you through the area with breathtaking views. Located at 1264 Prairie Hwy, Breaux Bridge, LA.
5. Chicot State Park

9. Driskill Mountain Trail
This 1.8-mile trail is perfect for all skill levels, and gives you beautiful views that’ll make you think you’re not in Louisiana anymore. There’s no specific address to this trail, but you can find it near the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in Bienville, LA.
10. Cypremort Point

11. Jean Lafitte National Park, Barataria Preserve
