Who doesn’t love fresh berries and all of the yummy things made from them? Well, Nevada is home to one of the most picture perfect berry farms in the entire country. Jacobs Family Berry Farm, located in Gardnerville, is not only known for its wonderful raspberries and blackberries, but also for its picturesque and scenic location. A trip to this farm is not one you will soon forget.
Jacobs Family Berry Farm is located at 1335 Centerville Lane in Gardnerville in gorgeous Carson Valley, just 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe and Carson City.
Wilhelm and Maria Lampe purchased the ranch in 1887 from original owner Lorens Christensen. In 1922, the Lampes sold the farm to their sons Bill and Edward who ran the 300-acre ranch until the early 1970s when it was mostly sold off to develop downtown Gardnerville and Lampe Park.
