A lot of folks don’t know that Connecticut has its very own Cherry Blossom Festival, but it sure does! After a long winter, there’s no way to celebrate the coming of spring than by attending this annual event. The scene is vibrant with pinks and there’s entertainment for visitors of all ages. So mark your calendars! The 44th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival is on Sunday, April 23rd.

Wooster Square isn't just historic. It's also famous! Springtime enthusiasts can't get enough of this park, whose perimeter is lined with cherry blossoms. The 72 Yoshino Japanese cherry blossom trees were planted in 1973 and have been bringing joy to the locals ever since.

The park is a great place for a spring retreat, especially since the area is also famous for its unique thin crust apizza. You can pick up a slice and lounge on the green in this serene city park all season long, but the best time to visit, hands down, is during the festival.

That's when the bloom is at its peak and Wooster Place becomes the most beautiful street in the world. The pink tunnel of trees is a stunning sight and has been attracting people for years.
