Since 1954, The Dresden in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles has been a classic place to see and be seen while dining on exceptional cuisine. Popular selections include mouthwatering steaks, lobster tail served with melted butter, and other in-house specialties.
8. Harbor House Cafe -- 16341 Pacific Coast Hwy in Sunset Beach, CA.

A classic old-time restaurant that adds a nice touch of history to the town of Capistrano. This building has been a fixture in this charming beach town since 1912 and is known for its family style setting where you can grill up your own meals.

Not only has this iconic Los Angeles restaurant been in operation since 1922, but it has also been run by the same family in the same location since it opened. Now that's historic!
