1. The French Lick Springs Hotel
Inside this luxurious resort hotel are dark spirits. Many claim to still see the hotel's former owner inside. Other accounts tell of blood constantly appearing in a room where a bride once committed suicide and other stories tell of a bellhop and other former workers at the hotel who continue to pop up.
2. The Haunted Bridge of Avon
Nestled along White Lick Creek, this old Avon bridge is not one you want to walk over at night. While there are rumors that one of the former bridge builders was buried in the cement, others see a wailing mother can be found, looking for her baby Sometimes you'll see these ghosts and other times all you'll see are their trails of tears...
3. Fox Hollow Farm
This foreboding farm is the site where 11 bodies of murdered gay men were found. Formerly owned by Herb Baumeister, this creepy farm has a dark aura around it.
4. The Story Inn
This historic inn is the alleged home of the "Blue Lady" who is thought by many to be the former wife of George Story, the inn's founder. Guests claim to have either seen her or the blue objects she leaves behind.
5. The Willard Library
This stunning library is said to be haunted by the "Gray Lady," a spirit that police offices, library workers, visitors, and even paranormal investigators have confirmed seeing on multiple occasions.
6. Stepp Cemetery
Sure, all cemeteries can be creepy in their own way, but this one is positively chilling. Many recall a screaming spirit in the form of a woman who is looking for her deceased baby. Others claim to have heard chanting from a local cult and numerous spirits.
7. The Big Tunnel
This creepy tunnel is rumored to be haunted by the ghost of a man who was beheaded while the tunnel was being built. Legend says his ghost can be seen carrying a lantern in one hand...and his head in the other!
8. Indiana Central State Hospital
Now known as the Indiana Medical History Museum, these grounds used to be home to an insane asylum. In fact, many former patients are buried around the buildings, on the site's grounds. Visitors and employees still swear you can hear footsteps, screaming, and sometimes even see former patients' ghosts.
9. Randolph County Infirmary
Another former insane asylum is this Randolph County Infirmary building. 10. The Barbee Hotel
This little hotel has a history of terrifying events that spans back decades. This was a popular hotel for gangsters like Al Capone back in the early 1900s and one of the more frequent ghost sightings is from a gangster's murdered girlfriend. Pretty creepy.
