The One Place Near Denver That Looks Like Something From Middle Earth
When J.R.R. Tolkien penned his iconic Lord of the Rings and Hobbit series, he made the setting a mythical land full of lush greenery, dense forests, majestic purple mountains, and streams of crystal blue water… sound familiar? If I’m not mistaken, Tolkien’s Middle Earth sounds eerily similar to that of half of the state of Colorado, namely the large and stunning Rocky Mountain National Park (which is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Denver!).
