State Parks In Ohio

What are some of the best state parks in Ohio?
Harrison Lake State Park (Fayette): Camp out at one of the electric or primitive sites and explore these lovely 142 acres. Go swimming and paddling in Harrison Lake, also known for its excellent stock of bass, bluegill, crappie, northern pike, and other fish. Two ADA-friendly courtesy docks are available along with a dog swim area. And don't forget to explore the wooded hiking trails.
Blue Rock State Park (Blue Rock): Do you have a bow and arrow? An archery range is available for free target practice in this 322-acre park. Once you improve, try out your bow hunting skills during deer bow season. The 15-acre lake provides swimming, fishing, and boating, and the boat launch ramp has a lighted sidewalk. Plan a family reunion by reserving a picnic shelter, one of which has a covered bridge. And another fascinating element of this place is the Blue Rock Fire Tower constructed in 1937. It's the last 100-foot fire tower in Ohio.
Lake Hope State Park (McArthur): Go mountain biking at one of Ohio’s top single-track mountain biking trail systems. Challenge yourself on more than 25 miles of steep hills and ravines along the eight trails. The 2,983-acre park sits in the impressive, richly wooded Zaleski State Forest that includes remnants of abandoned mining and iron-producing industries. The lake is named after the Lake Hope mining village, and the original town remains about 70 feet beneath the lake! The park surrounds the shimmering lake and offers lodging at a campground and year-round cabins. Make sure to order a delicious meal at the dining lodge.
