Arizona certainly isn’t the first state that comes to mind when you think of sledding and snowman building. And it’s true that snow is hard to come by in the Grand Canyon State but this winter park is worth checking out. Find some warm clothes and some gloves and get out there!
Before you visit, call the park at (928) 814-8180 to make sure there’s enough snow. The park is open Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Up to five people can sled for just $20. For more information, visit the park’s website.
