We love spending the winter in Florida, where the weather is mild and we don’t have to worry about freezing temperatures. Although we don’t miss the cold, sometimes we wish we could have a little snow around Christmas time. That’s where these awesome events and festivals come in. Find one near you, and you can see snow this winter, without ever leaving Florida.
Come check out this fantastic festival with giant snow slides, pony rides, pictures with Santa, snowman building, giant snow globe, live shows, and much more. December 16th, 17th, & 18th.
North Straub Park is beautiful this time of year, so save the date of November 25th, when the Christmas tree and park lights will turn on. Come back to the park on December 3rd at 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for Snowfest, with lots of activities, cookie making, and 64 (!) tons of snow.

If you want to spend Christmas in Florida but you miss the snow, head to the Central Florida town of Celebration. Snow will fall on this adorable little town every night from November 28th through December 31st. There will also be ice skating, caroling, entertainment, photos with Santa, and more.

This park has so much holiday spirit, with marshmallow roasting, carol singing, snow flurries, millions of lights twinkling in the majestic oaks. The Festival of Lights will run through December 2nd through 24th this year, with some nights open for drive-through viewing only.
