With a lot of small towns and a lot of state pride, Delaware is home to a ton of small businesses, restaurants, attractions and parks that are seriously underrated. Heading slightly off the beaten path to explore these incredible places will be a decision that you won’t ever regret.

Malin's Deli is a local favorite and makes some of the best subs in the state. They've also got a variety of snacks and treats, an amazing Jim-Bob sandwich, and homemade dog biscuits for your best pal.

Of all of the DuPont Corridor attractions, Nemours is the most underrated in Delaware. They used to be reservation-only, but now they're open for self-guided tours.

This charming town on the Mispillion river is often overlooked for bigger, busier Delaware towns, but there are few things I enjoy more than a stroll through downtown Milford. Particularly this time of year, when the shops and storefronts are decorated for the holidays.
