J.B. Weisenfels has lived in rural Arkansas for three decades. She is a writer, a mom, and a graduate student. She is also an avid collector of tacky fish whatnots, slightly chipped teapots, and other old things. In her spare time she enjoys driving to the nearest creek to sit a while. If you were to visit her, she'd try to feed you cornbread.
There are actually several trails of holiday lights in Arkansas, because the Arkansas Trail of Holiday Lights is an annual statewide event. You can find one in your region by clicking here. The one we’re discussing today is the central Arkansas itinerary B, with a few additions that make it even more awesome. I chose this itinerary because there are certain things Arkansans really shouldn’t miss during the holiday season, and one of those things is the lighting of the Arkansas State Capitol in Little Rock. On this tree-mendous leg of Arkansas’s holiday trail of lights, you’ll find wonder at every stop.
