Decades ago, a short little train ride once traveled around the idyllic area nestled between the Mississippi Border and St. Francisville, which includes the towns of Clinton and Jackson north of Baton Rouge. Now, there are a group of volunteers that are working night and day to get this train ride back on track. You’re going to love this hidden gem of Louisiana!
This amazing museum and grounds will give you a glimpse of the history of this area that is truly like no other.
The train that they are now restoring was built in 1964 and brought to Jackson in 1998.

The route includes four historic sites in Jackson as well as forests and other attractions.
