A great time in Nevada doesn’t have to cost a fortune. As a matter of fact, there are many fun things you can do in Nevada that only costs $10 or less. I’ve listed 11 of these fun things below.
1. The Deuce
If you're looking for a way to explore the Las Vegas Strip and walking just isn't your thing, take a ride on "The Deuce"--a double decker tour bus. For only $8, you can get a 24-hour all-access pass to explore the strip. This is a much cheaper alternative to the cost of a taxi.
2. Nevada Museum of Art
For only $10, you can view some interesting art exhibitions at the Nevada Museum of Art, which is located in downtown Reno. Hours: Wed-Sun 10:00am-6:00pm / Thurs 10:00am-8:00pm
3. Tours of Virginia City
If you're interested in Nevada's history, I suggest taking a tour of Virginia City. There are several different ways to do this. A round-trip tour from Virginia City to Gold Hill on a diesel train costs $10. A tour of the Chollar Mine also costs $10. A 2.5 mile, 20 minute narrated tour of Virginia City on a trolley only costs $5.
4. Farmers Markets
For less than $10, you can select some delicious produce from a nearby farmers market. Farmers markets have some of the BEST fruits and vegetables you'll ever eat!
5. Las Vegas Strip Hotels & Casinos
Exploring the hotels on the Las Vegas Strip isn't only fun, it's also FREE! The design of each hotel is a different destination theme, meaning you can visit many different places around the world in a single day. Pretty cool, huh?
6. Lehman Caves
If you love caves, I suggest exploring the Lehman Caves, located within the Great Basin National Park. The cost is only $10 for a 90-minute tour. YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT!
7. S7 Buffet
Nevada is known for its AWESOME buffets! One particular buffet really stands out to me. Not only does it include a large selection of food, it also has a price that can't be beat. At S7 Buffet, which is located inside the Silver Sevens Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, you can have a delicious breakfast for only $7.99, a delicious lunch for only $9.99, and if you're a club member, a delicious dinner for only $9.99. These prices are for Monday through Thursday only. Friday, Saturday and Sunday prices will be a couple of dollars extra.
8. National Automobile Museum
If you love cars, you'll really enjoy visiting the National Automobile Museum. You'll also appreciate the fact that you can see a collection of more than 200 unique cars for only $10. The National Automobile Museum is located at 10 South Lake Street, Reno, NV 89501. Hours: Mon-Sat 9:30am-5:30pm / Sun 10:00am-4:00pm
9. Nickel & Penny Slots
If you only have $10 to spend and want to do something fun, try your luck at the nickel and penny slots. They may not pay out much, but they're fun to play.

Wild Island Family Adventure Park, located in Sparks, offers a fun time for the entire family. For only $6.75, you can play a round of mini golf or ride go-karts.
