We received so much feedback, in fact, we decided to take all of those amazing suggestions and put together this list. So, without further ado, here are 12 (more) must-visit, mouthwatering restaurants in Mississippi.
This Amory staple was established in 1929, and while many things have changed since then, one thing has remained the same – the secret recipe used to make the restaurant’s one-of-a-kind burgers. Bill’s signature burgers are so good, they are only dressed with basic condiments, such as ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and hot sauce because "that’s all you’ll need." Bill’s Hamburgers is located at 310 S. Main Street in Amory.

This New Albany landmark has been in business for decades now, and in that time has become known for its mouthwatering slugburger. Latham’s even caught the attention of Business Insider, which named the restaurant’s burger "best in the state." While visiting Latham’s be sure to check out the seating and countertop, which was salvaged from the restaurant’s original dining car location. Latham’s Hamburger Inn is located at 106 W. Main Street in New Albany.
Head to this Madison eatery and you can browse a buffet loaded with smoky barbecue and southern favorites, including Mama Hamil’s specialty, "perfectly seasoned" fried chicken. Over the years, the impressive fare has earned the restaurant several accolades, including "best buffet" and "best soul food." Mama Hamil’s is located at 751 US-51 in Madison.
The Blue Rooster has been in business since 2008, and in that short time has garnered a reputation for its mouthwatering burgers. From the build-your-own-burger option to the restaurant’s specialty, the Flamethrower, you won’t be disappointed with a trip to this hidden gem. The Blue Rooster is located at 4822 Highway 22 in Flora.

Whether you’re in the mood for steaks, seafood, or some good ol’ fried chicken, Lusco’s can deliver. Aside from the food, it’s the atmosphere that customers can’t stop talking about. The historic building that houses the restaurant was once a speakeasy, making for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Lusco’s is located at 722 Carrollton Avenue in Greenwood.
Located inside a modest brick building, this Starkville favorite is known for its slow-cooked barbecue and variety of signature sauces and was even featured on the Food Network. The Little Dooey is located at 100 Fellowship Street in Starkville.

The Onward Store has been in business since 1913, and in recent years has grown to include a restaurant, known for serving a fare made up of local favorites, like tamales and fried catfish, as well as mouthwatering burgers. The Onward Store is located at 6693 Highway 61 in Rolling Fork.

This Tupelo drive-in was once a favorite of Elvis Presley, who couldn’t get enough of Johnnie’s signature cheeseburgers. After all these years, the legendary restaurant is still open and still serving up some of the best burgers and barbecue around. Johnnie’s is located at 908 E. Main Street in Tupelo.
Eat to your heart’s content at this café, where you’ll find a delicious buffet overflowing with home cooked southern classics, in addition to a menu filled with sandwiches, hamburgers, and salads. Main Street Café is located at 119 Main Street in Collins.

Browse over the menu and you’ll find everything from steaks and burgers to local favorites, like country fried steak and fried green tomatoes. The fare also includes an authentic southern-style breakfast, which is served all day. The Blue and White Restaurant is located at 1355 Highway 61 North, Tunica.
