People around the country don’t always show great respect to the Southeast, and Louisiana in particular has certainly taken some beatings over the years. But the truth is, we have so much to be proud of in this great state. Here are some of the reasons why Louisiana is the most underrated state in the country.
As these disasters become more common around the country, people in Louisiana have honed their skills of search and rescue and built strong communities that can weather the storms. After more than 86 recorded storms, we’re always getting better at creating resilient communities and minimizing harm. I guess you could say in Louisiana, we can always find the rainbow in the rain.
This was a $15 million purchase that resulted in the birth of 13 more states into our union.
