Founded in 1980, ShowBiz was a Chuck E Cheese-like chain of pizza joints and one of the best places for a childhood birthday party. Sadly, an actual Chuck E. Cheese took it over in 1990.

Aerobics were THE way to exercise in the 80s. If you were a teenager, you may have gotten in on the trend yourself. If you were younger, you probably remember a family member or your best friend’s mom going to class or dancing to a video.

If you’re old enough to recall the Mount St. Helens eruption in Washington in 1980, you probably remember what a big deal it was that the volcanic fallout made it all the way over here.
