Psst… Are you ready to hear about one of the best-kept secrets in Colorado? Get ready to have your mind blown, as this secret spot not only serves some of the finest cuisine in the state, but also boasts one of the coziest, most memorable ambiances in the country. Ladies and gentlemen: I give you Keystone’s Ski Tip Lodge .
Located in a historic 1800s stagecoach stop (that originally served as home to Keystone's founding family), Ski Tip Lodge is one of the most secluded and surprising restaurants in not just Colorado, but the entire country.
Though it maybe located out in the middle of nowhere (we read a review or two about people getting lost whilst trying to find the charming lodge), we promise that the trek is worth it for just one taste of executive chef Kevin McComb’s masterpiece meals.
Upon your arrival to the Ski Tip, you will be greeted by a small and quaint setting complete with cozy fireplace, exposed wood beams, and other touches that will make you think you have left the hustle and bustle of modern times for the mid-19th Century.
What else can you expect to find? The (daily changing) menu for a beautifully curated 4-course meal, which comes with an expertly prepared soup, appetizer, entree, and surprise dessert.
(Trust us; the menu may be small, but it will not disappoint!)
The Ski Tip Lodge has not only received recognition locally, but nationally as well, receiving the #6 rank on OpenTable’s prestigious Top 100 list.
Since the restaurant has only two seatings per night, reservations are required. For more information on Ski Tip (or to make your reservation) visit Ski Tip Lodge's website .
