Over the past four years, this ongoing natural disaster has grown to include more than 20 acres of land. The sinkhole was at first mysterious, but soon it was discovered it was created by an underground salt dome collapsing, which was run by Texas Brine Company. It's a truly disturbing time when these termites come out, reminding us how fragile so many of the buildings that are filled with termites actually are---and just filling the night skies in a most distasteful way.
