Or at least it’s kind of about it… today’s post is actually about a Kansas town that is small (with a population of less than 1,000), but mighty in that you can always find something fun and exciting to do.

First settled in 1854 by an Indian trader and cattle rancher, Cottonwood Falls is one of the picturesque towns located in the heart of the Flint Hills.

One of the most recognizable spots in Cottonwood Falls is that of the Chase County Courthouse; a French Renaissance-style building built in 1873 (the same time that the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway reached the area).
