Tappan Lakeside Resort offers 17 well-appointed cabins nestled around Ohio's beautiful Tappan Lake. Accommodations range from luxury mini-lodges and A-frames to cabins and cottages -- all boasting sublime views of this beauteous Buckeye State lake.
Because not only are the rentals at Tappan Lakeside Resort family friendly, many boast the kinds of kid-friendly amenities you'd expect at a place that caters *just* to kids, like Disney World or Jellystone Park: a glorious on-site playground, kayak rentals, and a massive community rec room with all sorts of games!
Tappan Lakeside Resort even has its own Lakeside Store where you can grab gear, bait, drinks, groceries, ice cream, and even freshly prepared family favorites like pizzas, tacos, and burgers.
As for the accommodations themselves, expect the best of the best. This is a resort, not a campground, and while the vibe is certainly relaxed, the accommodations are anything but rustic. Amenities vary by rental, but include perks like kitchenettes, Keurig coffeemakers, handcrafted Adirondack chairs, heating/AC, expansive decks, and outdoor grills.
Whether you come with your partner, friends, or family, you'll find sleeping arrangements that feel catered especially to your group! Little kiddos will love the bunkbeds in the Cottage, while families with older kids will be right at home in the Luxury Mini Lodge. Both of these rentals are pet friendly, too, so you really can bring the *whole* family!

There's nothing worse than saying you "need a vacation after vacation" to recover from what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway. I have four kids; I get it.
