The Portal in New York City is set to be installed on the Flatiron South Public Plaza at Broadway, Fifth Avenue, and 23rd Street—right by the Flatiron Building. It's a high-traffic area that is a perfect location for the sculpture.

On the other side of the pond, the Portal is going to be erected next to O’Connell Street, which is considered to be Dublin’s main street. Included in the view will be the city’s GPO building and the Spire.
