I'm an east coast girl living in a west coast world. I grew up in New England before moving to SoCal for several years. I then lived in NYC or a year before moving to AZ in 2009. I worked in the entertainment industry for many years of my adult life and have a deep love for photography, writing, and traveling around the U.S. as well as to far-flung locations around the world. Travel is my life and writing about it is a dream!
Cocina Adamex in Phoenix went viral recently for having the largest conchas in Arizona. If you’ve never heard of a concha, here’s what it is: a traditional sweet bread with roots in Mexico. Whether or not you’ve had one before, you’ll want to head to Cocina Adamex to try theirs!
Cocina Adamex is an incredibly fun and delicious restaurant that serves traditional Mexican cuisine. You can find it at 416 N 7th Ave. in Phoenix, Arizona.
With breakfast served daily until noon and lunch and dinner also serves, any time is a good time to come to Cocina Adamex. From breakfast burritos to huevos rancheros, from tacos to tostadas and tamales, those who love Mexican food will be delighted by all of the options on the menu.
One item that this place is really known for is its conchas! While there are smaller conchas made here, what the restaurant has truly become known for is its extra-large conchas!
The XL Conchas from Cocina Adamex have taken social media by storm. Measuring 10 inches in diameter, it's perfect for sharing (or not -- we won't judge!).
