Al Solito Posto is a very special, East-Coast-style Italian restaurant. As someone who grew up on the East Coast, this is exactly the kind of Italian restaurant that I seek out and love best of all.
Of course, East Coast Italian is based first and foremost on Italian cuisine from Italy itself, but with an East Coast of the United States gusto and twist added in.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is lively, welcoming, and comfortable. You'll feel right at home as soon as you walk in. It's a great spot for a date or a meal with friends or family.
Conchiglie is not a well known pasta in the United States, but it's popular in the south of Italy. This dish is served with basil and pine nut pesto and tomatoes and every bite will melt in your mouth.
Casarecce is a twisted noodle that originated in Sicily. Here, it's served with crumbled fennel sausage, broccoli rabe, sweet peppers, and some fresh grated ricotta salata. Wow!
