There is nothing more peaceful than getaway in the mountains. We are blessed to have the Great Smoky Mountains in our backyard and, frankly, it is simply the best place on earth. There is a certain stillness found only in these mountains that lures visitors back time and time again. Townsend is known as the “Peaceful side of the Smokies” I can attest to just how true that is, but this small town just got a whole lot better.
