I live in southern New Hampshire and can usually be found wandering throughout the state's mountains and forests.
New Hampshire’s capital city may not be the first place you think of in winter, but we’ve got quite a lot to offer in all seasons. Community events abound here, both large and small. In late January, just steps outside where lawmakers are crafting legislation, crafters of a different kind will be creating works of art in the form of ice carvings on the State House lawn as part of Concord NH Winter Fest.
As a resident of Concord, it’s been a weird winter here so far, so hopefully it will be cold enough for ice carving when the event takes place! For more information and updates or to register for the ice carving competition, visit Intown Concord.
Before spring arrives in New Hampshire, here are seven more fun winter things to do around the state.
