One of our favorite lesser-known parks is Eisenhower Park in Abilene, KS. This is one of the best small-town parks in Kansas, and it’s a wonderful spot for a stroll on a lovely afternoon, no matter the season!

Abilene is one of the best small towns in Kansas. It's home to the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum, which is fitting, as the 34th president was raised in Abilene.
