There is nothing quite like the winter in Utah. While many well-known destinations come alive in the winter (like Bryce Canyon National Park), there are several lesser-known areas that are enchanting when the snow falls. One of these destinations is Waterfall Canyon. To reach the frozen waterfall, you will have quite a winter hike ahead of you but the natural wonder at the end of your journey will make every step worth it.
When visiting, do not attempt to climb on the rocks surrounding the frozen falls. They are extremely dangerous and several hikers have fallen to their deaths in the area. You can learn more about this trail and other hikers’ experiences on AllTrails.
