Step into a realm of ultimate enchantment at the Hoggetowne Medieval Faire, where the echoes of the past resound in jousting spectacles and ancient crafts. Right in the heart of Gainesville at Gainesville’s Depot Park, this annual event enchants visitors with jousting tournaments, bustling markets brimming with handcrafted treasures, and the allure of a bygone era. Amidst jesters’ tales and knights’ valor, the faire invites all to don period attire and immerse themselves in a world of historical wonder. This is one of my favorite medieval festivals in Florida and certainly one of the oldest. Come see what all of the fuss is about!
