Winter is here and that means it is time for winter sports season to begin! My family has already completed a winter hike and hit the slopes at Mount Wachusett. Ice skating is next on our list and “The Rink” at MarketStreet Lynnfield is where we are headed.
This seasonal ice rink is located right in the heart of the MarketStreet Lynnfield shopping complex. It is a great place for people of all ages and levels to put on their skates and take a spin around the ice.
“The Rink” has become such a popular winter destination that it has returned to Lynnfield year after year and is now in its 10th season. SBLI Life Insurance sponsors this addition to MarketStreet Lynnfield.
Skate under the lights and enjoy some great tunes. There are fireplaces and a warming tent for when you get cold.
After all that skating, you are sure to be hungry. MarketStreet has many delicious restaurants where you can enjoy a great meal. A few even give discounts to skaters. On select days, La Gallina and Alchemy offer kids with “The Rink” wristbands a free entree (with the purchase of an additional entree).
MarketStreet also has a ton of great shopping. The complex features more than 80 stores including Barnes & Noble, lululemon, Pottery Barn, and Sephora.
Between all of the food, shopping, and skating, you can easily spend an entire day here!
“The Rink” will be open until February (weather permitting), so there is still lots of time to enjoy the ice!
Have you hit “The Rink” at MarketStreet Lynnfield? How was your experience?
