This Decades-Old Diner Is One Of The Most Nostalgic Destinations In Kansas
It seems like the harder life gets, the more we long for the old days. It’s so comforting to enjoy a nostalgia-filled location, whether it’s a drive-in movie theater or a Wamego day trip to a fun bowling alley followed up by a kid-friendly museum. It seems like diner-style restaurants really work well with a nostalgic ambiance, and it’s no coincidence that there are so many great diners with a retro theme. One of our favorites is Jimmie’s Diner in Wichita, KS. This spot opened up in 1987 and it’s so popular that there are now two Wichita locations. If you’re looking for delicious food in a nostalgic environment that feels like a step back in time, it doesn’t get much better than a visit to either of these Wichita restaurants. Check it out:

If you are looking to travel to the Wichita area, you’ll find plenty of amazing spots to enjoy, from parks to museums and family-friendly attractions. One of our favorite places to stay in Wichita is this charming allergy-free home that’s quite affordable and can sleep up to 10 guests. It’s the perfect spot to stay for a large family or group of friends!
