It goes like this: drive your car over to just south of Freeman, Missouri to right about the intersection of gravel road East 299th Street and paved Missouri State Highway D. Then stop and put it in neutral. From there, watch and marvel at how it appears your car is rolling uphill.

This strange phenomenon occurs in several places throughout the United States. In some places local legends blame the strange occurrence on ghosts or aliens.

But the truth is: these "gravity hills" or "magnetic hills" are really just an illusion where the layout of the land makes a downhill slope appear to be going uphill.
