Georgia is a beautiful state, but sometimes, time on the road can be a little… rough. (I’m looking at you, Atlanta!) From other drivers to errant deer darting into the highway, being behind the wheel can be stressful! We are lucky enough to have quite a few scenic drives in Georgia that provide amazing windshield views to lighten your stress load a little bit. Some of these gorgeous byways make you just want to take it a little slow and stop to check out your surroundings every so often. One of our favorite scenic roads in Georgia is Highway 19 North. Tucked away in the quiet North Georgia mountains, the span of the highway that runs through Blairsville and Dahlonega hits some of the most stunning parts of the state. Check it out:
