Lisa loves animals and has dogs, rats, cats, guinea pigs, and snakes. She is passionate about animal rescue and live music - traveling across the country to see a favorite band is a pretty regular occurrence! Being out hiking in the woods enjoying the scenery with her beloved dogs is another favorite hobby, and also checking out the Pokemon Go scene in whatever city she happens to be in at any given time (coffee and dog leash in hand). We love featuring the oldest restaurants in Georgia: These places have such longevity for a reason. But supporting local business doesn’t mean you have to eat at the same places over and over again. There are many great new restaurants in the Peach State that are worthy of support, too. After all, if we don’t check out new spots, they won’t get the opportunity to stay in business for years and years. I recently had the opportunity to dine at a new restaurant in Savannah, GA, and it was a spectacular experience! Waters Cafe is a homey, colorful place that’s filled with joy, and it’s no wonder it’s proving to be quite popular with locals.
