You don't need to travel to the south of the border for authentic cuisine, just head to Jose's Mexican Grill & Cantina in Hot Springs Arkansas. At its 2 locations, one on Malvern Ave and the other on Central Ave, you can expect to be swept away by bold flavors as well as vibrant decor.
As you drive through the neighborhood on Malvern, look for the brightly colored sign with the cactus and the festive sombrero. The restaurant is tucked away from the street amongst towering trees, so you might miss it as you go by.
Inside you'll be delighted by the bright dining space complete with tropical themed decor. I especially love the artwork with the Flamenco dancers and the Mariachi band. Not to mention the carved benches and chairs boasting vibrant hues. The colorful ambiance will remind you of Mexico for sure.
And as for the food, since 1989, the Soto family has been dishing up bold flavors from their family recipes that have been passed down through generations. This means you can expect authentic cuisine made with fresh ingredients. Of course, all the plates are just as vibrant as the atmosphere, just check out this guacamole appetizer. Don't skip it!
