Named after its resemblance to the handle on a cooking pan, Oklahoma’s Panhandle occupies the extreme northwestern portion of Oklahoma. The area is a 166-mile-long and 34-mile-wide strip of land stretching west towards New Mexico. It is not known as being one of Oklahoma’s more beautiful places, but we’re here to show you otherwise.
