Tori Jane is a storm chaser, writer, photographer, and the village idiot - in that order. When she's not out and about dancing with the meanest storms on planet Earth for funsies she can be found wandering, shooting landscapes, writing, editing photos, and otherwise up to no good. Legend has it that she can also be occasionally spotted typing up short bios in the third person, but those rumors are unsubstantiated.
Every so often, you come across a place to eat that’s so awesomely good that you find yourself conflicted: do you share your amazing find with friends and family to spread the love, or do you keep it your own little secret so you’ve got something special between you and yourself? Well, we personally love sharing – after all, it’s what we do! – and goodness, do we have an absolutely awesome local gem for you. Hiding in Bloomington is the best mom-and-pop diner in Indiana, known as B’Town Diner, and we suspect that once you’ve been here, you’ll never want to leave… and you’ll always want to come back.
At B-Town Diner, everything is made from scratch every day.
It's worth whatever the wait time is, though, so do NOT let that deter you - it's truly just proof that it's as amazing as it is. It's widely agreed upon - by all of Bloomington (and especially the denizens of IU).

The main event here is breakfast, though there's a full menu for the rest of the day, too.
Sometimes, like during the week in the middle of the day, you might get the place to yourself... but honestly, what's the fun in that? Part of the experience is the small-town, close-knit, local watering hole vibe.
Favorite menu items include the to-die-for chicken and waffles.
...it's just too bad it's probably frowned upon to stay all day and try everything! Can we just sleep here? Please?
The pancakes are the best in the morning, and we like them fresh.
