South Carolina is brimming with fun fall activities, whether you’re looking for places to view beautiful foliage, orchards for apple-picking, a great festival to attend, or a farm with fall fun. You’re sure to find plenty of ideas right here in our own state. We suggest checking out Stewart Farms in the tiny town of Enoree which has one of the largest pumpkin patches in S.C. as well as other things to do, making it a perfect fall day trip destination.
Enoree is a small town in the upstate Spartanburg County of South Carolina. Its population as of 2020 was only 560 people.
This South Carolina pumpkin patch offers over 70 varieties of pumpkins to choose from in all shapes, sizes, and colors. For safety, the pumpkin patch closes at dark.
In addition to the pumpkin patch at Stewart Farms, there are lots of other fun things to do in the fall. You can shop a nice selection of fall decor items.
The farm has a bakery offering Pumpkin Snickerdoodles, Pumpkin Bread Loaf, and Triple Decker Pumpkin Pie, a farm favorite, during the fall. Place your order prior to your trip on the Stewart Farms website, and it will be ready for pickup at the farm market!
At night, experience The Big Boo haunted maze, a family-friendly event but not recommended for children younger than six years old!
Take a fun wagon ride through the farm! You'll see fun fall scenes, carved pumpkins, and scarecrows all while enjoying the great outdoors! The last daytime wagon ride departs at 6:30 p.m.
Nighttime wagon rides include lit jack-o-lanterns and a ride through fun fall and Halloween scenes.
Visit the farmyard animals and appreciate the efforts and hard work of our local farmers. Stewart Farms does ask that you refrain from petting the animals.
Also included with your admission to the farm during the fall is a visit to The Bee Barn, where you can watch how hard the bees work as they turn pumpkin pollen into honey! You may be able to buy some of their honey at the farm market during your visit.
