The Great Smoky Mountains are just made for vacations. Late nights staying up soaking the most of your precious time together, exploring the vast and beautiful wilderness, and making memories that will last a lifetime are all part of the East Tennessee experience — it’s the best! I love every time we take off and go to my favorite national park, but I also love the audacious attractions found in the surrounding towns. In terms of a “home base” for exploring the area, there are some truly amazing places to stay in Tennessee, but this one has to be the best cabin rental in Caton, Tennessee.
There are vacations, and then there are vacations -- the kind of experiences that are next-level and bucket-list worthy.
This 6,000 square foot “cabin” is definitely the latter. Filled with opulent designs and luxurious amenities, no expense was spared in its construction. There is enough room to comfortably sleep 20 people and there are 11 bathrooms -- so the word “huge” doesn't even begin to describe it! This is a perfect vacation place for a large family, or extended family, or a place to gather large groups of friends to spend a week together. If you book seven nights in a row, you can even get a private chef to come out and cook you a dinner one of those nights!

This large, 12 x 24 indoor heated pool is plenty big to cool off during the heat of the day and splash and play long into the night if you want to. Above the pool is a large pavilion deck with optimal views of the surrounding natural beauty *and* a great outdoor space to enjoy our lovely Tennessee weather.

If you prefer to soak rather than swim, the hot tub is the place for you.
Head on out to the covered porch and melt into the warm bubbly spa. Allow your cares to just fade away in this relaxing Jacuzzi where you will find plenty of room if others want to join you because you will find not just one, but two hot tubs on the premises.
Play a game of pool, challenge someone at darts, or take to the shuffleboard table; there are plenty of games to keep you busy for hours. Are you a gamer? Hop over to the arcade cabinets to play some retro video games or smash some flippers in a game of pinball. This game room is filled with great ways for families to play and have fun.
This vacation rental itself truly *is* the destination, but if you can bring yourself to leave the property there are a couple of nearby attractions that simply must be experienced.
With towering thrill rides and fantastic shows, Dollywood ranks high on that list. This is also considered one of the prettiest parks in the whole world so enjoy any one of the annual events they host throughout the year decorating the whole park for any given season.
If you want to do a little bit of hiking, head on into the Smoky Mountains for a trail unlike anything else in the park.
Alum Cave is a wonderful hike featuring a babbling brook to walk beside, a stone tunnel, an inspiring overlook, and finally the massive rock formation known as Alum Cave. If you tire yourself out on this incredible hike, know that when you return you will have one of the best places to rest your head in all of Caton, Tennessee!
