Ever wish you could just escape from society and go live in the woods? While we’re not advocating for you to become a hermit in the North Georgia mountains, we are blessed to have plenty of peaceful place in Georgia where you can get away from the chaos of everyday life for a bit. The Peach State is blessed with some pretty amazing trails, but few are as beautiful or magical as the Len Foote Trail near Dawsonville. This is not an easy hike, but if you’re up for the challenge, the views are definitely worth the effort. Check it out:

This trail is pretty much heaven. It actually is probably best-known for a destination along the trail: The Hike Inn.

The Hike Inn is actually only accessible via this trail. It's a wonderful place to disconnect for a bit, and is quite popular with Appalachian Trail hikers.
The Len Foote Trail starts at Amicalola Falls and runs until it reaches the Appalachian Approach Trail.
