I’ve lived on the Gulf Coast all my life, so seeking out inland beaches in Texas has never really crossed my mind – but boy, do I wish I’d done it sooner! Comal Park on Canyon Lake is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever come across. With piercing blue waters, white sands, and lots of other amenities, this paradisal spot will quickly become one of your new favorite warm weather destinations.
Tucked away on the south shore of Canyon Lake near the neighborhood of Startzville, Comal Park is a 116-acre inland oasis that will make you think you've left Texas and traveled to a faraway tropical paradise.
You'll also find two boat ramps to launch from. No matter how you choose to enjoy the beautiful water at Comal Park, rest assured you're in for a great time.
It's hard to believe this breathtaking place is hiding right in our own backyard. Even if you live on the coast like I do, it will become one of your new favorite warm weather destinations.
Have you ever visited Comal Park? If so, do you think it’s one of the best inland beaches in Texas? We’d love to hear all about your experience in the comments! Don’t forget to check out our previous article for more things to do in Canyon Lake, Texas when the weather is warm.
