This 5.6-mile loop is rated moderately challenging and takes about three hours to complete. It's not easy, but it's absolutely worth the effort.

You'll see beautiful sights and vistas along the way. It's a popular trail, so the earlier you get to the trailhead, the better!

You can bring your dog on this adventure with you if you'd like. He or she can be off-leash in some areas, but at the points where the trail enters the Holy Cross Wilderness, you'll have to keep him or her on a leash.
