I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and will never tire of the West Coast, although I spent several years living in Southeast Asia, about as far from California as you can get. Wherever I am in the world, I love straying from the beaten path, experiencing local life, and discovering hidden gems - camera in hand. The beach is my happy place and when I am not there (or writing), you will usually find me baking, watching movies, and cuddling my pugs. I have traveled around the country and around the world, and it never, ever gets old. Being able to combine my passion for travel and my love of writing is nothing short of a dream.
We love themed restaurants, places that immerse us in a particular place, idea, or time, and Las Vegas is certainly known for themed venues. Of course, most of us have been to at least one cool 50s cafe, but other decades don’t seem to get quite as much love. If you grew up in the 80s, or just find that decade particularly epic, you simply must visit this totally tubular 80s-themed restaurant in Las Vegas.
Get ready to be instantly transported back several decades when you walk into the bodacious Back to the 80s Cafe and More in Las Vegas, Nevada.
With tables ripped straight out of a “Saved By The Bell” episode, tons of 80s movie posters lining the walls, and a pile of popular board games in the corner, this is definitely an 80s time warp.
There are also a couple of old-school arcade games in the dining room. How about a game of Ms. Pacman?

If you time it right, you just might have your burger and fries served by none other than Marty McFly! That’s right, at Back to the 80s, you will be greeted by your favorite 80s icons.
This gnarly restaurant definitely packs it in when it comes to 80s nostalgia with nods to Star Wars, Bon Jovi, Freddy Kreuger, Prince, the Rubik’s Cube, and black lights.
You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy a Grill Cheese sandwich here. Or perhaps you would prefer a Culture Club Sandwich on sourdough? Oh, and fries are great, but are they as good as Tetris tots? As if!
Your children may not appreciate all of the 80s memorabilia, but as the kids’ menu says, “Kids just want to have fun,” and they can choose a hot dog, burger, or PB and J, along with tots or fries, fruit, and even dessert included.
And it comes on an old-school cafeteria tray that will make parents chuckle
The Rad Desserts are also a throwback, ranging from an original Slush Puppy to Thrifty ice cream, which is served in a cup, a cone, or in a sundae called The Ghostbuster. Of course, that’s only if you can resist the Captain Crunch Cake Ice Cream Sandwich or the E.T. and Madonna milkshakes (it has cinnamon sugar Bugles on top!)
Remember the Ziggy Piggy challenge from Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure? You can take the challenge yourself with 12 scoops of ice cream, cake, and all the toppings. Ziggy Piggy!
Is this the most totally awesome 80s restaurant ever? Duh! Whether you live in Las Vegas or are planning a visit, will you take a step back in time and eat here?
