Cemeteries are morbid places. As beautiful as some may be, there are bodies buried under the ground. How do cemeteries make you feel? It all depends on perspective. Many buried here are Hessian soldiers who perished during the Revolutionary War Battle of Red Bank. Strangers to the area, this is how the cemetery got its name.

This Quaker cemetery was established in 1778 and is now overgrown. Home to many Civil War soldiers, graves continue all the way back into the woods.
