It’s no secret that some of the best museums in Georgiaare located in the city of Savannah. This historic city has no shortage of museums celebrating art, history, and more. One of the city’s most interesting museums is the American Prohibition Museum. This place is the only museum in the country dedicated to documenting Prohibition, the period of time between 1920 to 1933 when it was illegal to sell, produce, or transport alcohol within the United States. The museum itself is pretty fascinating, and one of the neatest parts about a visit here is that you can purchase an add-on ticket that will allow you a drink at Congress Street Up, a 1920s Prohibition-style bar in Georgia attached to the museum.
For more information about the American Prohibition Museum in Georgia, check out the museum’s website or Facebook page. Congress Street Up, the Prohibition-style bar in Georgia, has a separate website and Facebook page.
