Straddling the Missouri and Arkansas border, Dogwood Canyon Nature Park in Lampe stretches out over 10,000 glorious acres filled with winding paths, tumbling waterfalls, and majestic wildlife.
The picturesque park offers several ways – hiking and biking – to explore on your own, or you can sign up for one of the unique guided tours. Wildlife tram tours and horseback riding tours are two popular options.
However, for one-of-a-kind views of both the wildlife and the breathtaking landscape, book one of the Segway tours. Tours are ideal for guests who are ages 12 and older. Anyone 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 or older.
The 90-minute tour begins with a brief orientation, so you can familiarize yourself with the Segway if you haven’t been on one before. Your guide will then lead you on a journey through the park, offering a fascinating glimpse into its history along the way.
One of the highlights of the tour is, undoubtedly, your stop at Glory Hole, a turquoise pool that’s home to rainbow trout. You’ll even have the chance to feed the trout.
