This Unique Mississippi Attraction Will Take You Back In Time

Though Daniella was born in New York and has lived in a couple of other states, Mississippi has been her home for more than 30 years. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi, Daniella began to hone her writing skills through various internships. History comes to life at the unique Laurel attraction Landrum’s Homestead and Village. A replica of a standard 1800s settlement, the historically accurate village is made up of over 70 buildings and includes everything from a general store and schoolhouse to a trading post and shooting gallery.

Ready to take a “walking tour of the past?” The historic village can be toured Monday – Friday from 9 am – 5 pm. Admission is $8 per person; children three and under are free. Landrum’s is located at 1356 Highway 15 South in Laurel. For more information, click here.
