At 1,200 feet long you'll certainly get your money's worth. But don't worry about trudging back up to the top because you can simply take the "magic carpet lift" right back to the beginning for another run. Your ticket gets you two hours of tubing fun and includes the tube.
- Winterplace Ski Resort, Ghent, WV: Book your session at this popular ski resort for a fun day of tubing. Pick from 10 tubing tracks to find the fastest one as you race friends and family down this beautiful West Virginia mountain. If you can gather a group of 15 or more, you can even get discounted tickets. Be sure to warm up at the lodge by the fireplace as you order up a round of craft beers from the in-house brewery. And get those pipes ready for some wild and wacky karaoke, too.
- Snowshoe Mountain Resort, Snowshoe, WV: Launch yourself down this six-story tubing run at Snowshoe Mountain in another one of West Virginia's best ski resorts. At night the tubing park turns on its "galactic lighting" for even more fun after the sun goes down. If you need a break from tubing, check out the party deck for a warm-up by the fire. There are two time slots available for tubing: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. There is even a smaller tubing hill for younger children.
