Of course, there are always natural wonders like Lake Tahoe, Pyramid Lake, the Devil’s Hole, and so many more. Ely might be a small town, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty to do. The most popular attraction in the area is the Nevada Northern Railway Museum, a fascinating glimpse into a world that used to be and its technologies. There’s also the Ward Charcoal Ovens State Historic Park, an interesting place that was once a mining town that’s now a (really cool) state park. If you’re a fan of museums and you’ve already been to Northern Railway Museum, you should also check out the White Pine Public Museum.
