In 1888, Peter Kerr moved from Scotland to start a grain business. In 1916, he attained a 13-acre plot of land, in which he began creating this wonderful garden.
As he got married and started to have children, Kerr had a gigantic home built to resemble a traditional Scottish manor.

With this massive amount of land, the Kerr family made it their mission to grow some of the most impressive gardens to attract the prettiest fauna and flora.
